TheThinkingMachine

An illustrated walk through six models trained from scratch.

I. The plainSomewhere past the last town, the ground stops pretending to be flat. He has been walking since before the stories started. They say there is a machine out here that never stopped thinking.
II. The approachIt is larger than the stories said. Pipes the width of houses. A hum that lives in the teeth. The stairs were cut for someone much taller.
III. The coreAt the base, he stops. The core turns once, slowly, like an eye finding focus. Then it opens.
IV. InsideInside, it is red and quiet. The machine is watching. It keeps what it has learned in a long hall.
V. The hallSix of them, so far. Each one trained from nothing, on one GPU, and left here on the shelf for anyone to pick up.

The Collection

Six models, each trained from scratch on a single GPU. Every panel links to its public model card on Hugging Face — the numbers there are the only numbers here.

The Maker

I'm Tobias — TobiasLogic on Hugging Face. I build small models from scratch and publish them openly: the PixelModel v3–v6 image models, VoxelModel-v1 for text-to-3D, AudioModel-v1, ChessMamba, and Cagliostro, a small language model.

Most of that work is released through Bench Labs, a non-profit exploring artificial intelligence together. Everything is open source, and every card says what a model can't do as clearly as what it can.

The machine, the pilgrim and the hall are drawn in ink for this site. They are illustrations, not model outputs.
